project news: Kinnear Road 5 years on

A return visit to Kinnear Road completed in 2020 pleased to see that the planting has matured nicely. The woodland copse planted on a roof deck over a basement with restricted rooting zone some 5 years after planting. The planting consists of two varieties of birch trees the Chinese and River or Black Birch trees, planted both as standards and multi-stemmed trees. Under planted with Japanese Forest grass, Hosta, Euphorbia, Hellebores and Geranium all doing well in a north facing aspect. The woodland copse acts as a foil to the building by Richard Murphy Architects on behalf of AMA Homes.
