MBLA designed a new entrance to the Castle Gardens to complement the restoration of the Gate Lodge by zm architecture on behalf of Argyll and Bute Council.

​

The hard landscape proposals including a retaining seating wall constructed in schist and areas of hardstanding surfaced in reclaimed Whin setts laid in a radial pattern.

 

The resurfacing of the drive between the Gate Lodge and Queens Hall including new entrance steps will hopefully form a second phase in the infrastructure improvements within Castle Gardens.
